First level: Kubra Dam - 16 (195.91.138.66 Russian Federation)
1. Round, map: Kubra Dam, USSR as USMC and VEGA as MEC
Result: 88-54 to USSR
At start both teams focused on getting the Upper Dam flag, which Vega was able to get hold of pretty easily. But keeping it wasn´t easy,because USSR was pounding them really hard. Vega succeeded in getting the Lower Dam flag easily. Finally USSR was able to get the Upper Dam under their control and the rest of the round USSR slightly dominated.

2. Round, map: Kubra Dam, USSR as MEC and VEGA as USMC
Result: 114-0 to USSR
Second round started pretty much the same way first round did, as again both teams clashed at the Upper Dam flag.
USSR had no difficulties taking three out of four flags and then they started their rush at Vega´s base. Rest of the round was USSR´s domination, coz´ they managed to get their helicopter high above Vega´s base, which greatly helped them in getting the mainbase.

Second level: Dragon Valley - 16 (195.91.138.66 Russian Federation)
3. Round, map: Dragon Valley, USSR as China and VEGA as USMC
Result: 185-0 to VEGA
Both teams started with a similar tactic, which was to hit Hill VIllage and hard. Vega managed to reach Hill Village first, and it was fairly easy for them to get their flag up. At the same time Vega´s tank took Powerstation under their control. While USSR´s troops were running in the forest, Vega started to move their troops towards China´s mainbase and managed to keep squadleader alive in there. After USSR lost their chopper Vega started a massive attack in China´s mainbase and managed to get it under their control quite easily. The round ended in Vega´s surprisingly easy victory.

4. Round, map: Dragon Valley, USSR as USMC and VEGA as China
Result: 73-71 to USSR
This round´s start was rerun from the last: both teams striked the Hill Village hard. But this time USSR had learned their lesson ja and the whole round was even clashing and bashing from start to finish. Both team´s attackchoppers clashed in air without either one giving an inch of space for the other. Finally Vega was able to take control of the skies, but USSR managed to win this round.

Conclusion
Vega was resting three rounds out of four and used all their extra power in one round, which was enough for the victory in this matchup. One can only imagine, how it feels to win/lsoe a match this way. But GL and GG for both teams for this match and good luck also in the future. And thx to Absoluutti who helps me make this report. |
