[19:49] [EC]Tim: The first edition of the ClanBase EuroCup for NFS:C will feature 16 players.
[19:49] [EC]Tim: 16 players divided in 4 groups of 4 players each.
[19:49] [EC]Tim: This season's playoffs will be played using double elimination.
[19:49] [EC]Tim: From each group, 2 players will make it to the playoffs.
[19:49] [EC]Tim: All matches will be played with the best of five system.
[19:49] [EC]Tim: The Map list.
[19:49] [EC]Tim: The maplist is as following:
[19:49] [EC]Tim: Brooks Street/Dover Street/North Broadway/Ocean View/Skyline Avenue
[19:50] [EC]Tim: The Invitations.
[19:50] [EC]Tim: Players are selected for EuroCup participation based on their stability
[19:50] [EC]Tim: (i.e. the ability to complete leagues)
[19:50] [EC]Tim: and their strength as proven by official match results
[19:50] [EC]Tim: Practice results are irrelevant.
[19:50] [EC]Tim: To broaden the international appeal of the EuroCup
[19:50] [EC]Tim: the best player of country A may have gotten preference over the xth best player of country B
[19:50] [EC]Tim: As announced earlier, this cup will feature 16 players.
[19:50] [EC]Tim: From those 16, 8 spots are filled with direct invites.
[19:50] [EC]Tim: The remaining 8 spots will be decided by qualification matches.
[19:50] [EC]Tim: The 8 invitations are ordered alphabetically by the flag of their country and the playernames as they appear on ClanBase.
[19:50] [EC]Tim: The 8 qualifiers are saved for last.
