NFS: Carbon Circuit Cup

Welcome to NFS: Carbon QuickCup 1on1! by: QuiD|Razer - Add comment I'm proud to announce the first QuickCup season of NFS:Carbon Circuit 1on1. Me, CaesarTFT and CS4f1 will manage the cup. We will run the cup in cooperation to make it more enjoyable. The cup is international, it's open for everyone around the world from players who just bought the game to the professional LAN attenders. Remember! This is an one-day cup, so all matches will be played this Sunday! Signups Signup will close on Sunday 29th July 12:00 CET. Don't hesitate, signup now! Rules The rules will be based on the WCG rules, because most of the NFS players who playing wars wanna take part in one of the ~70 Qualifiers. Therefore it isn't logical to make different rules, with similar rules our cups and ladders could be the best preparations for the biggest NFS event in international level. Also because of the online and international mode of the cup, collision detection will be off. Screenshots You are required to take screenshots of all matches you take part in. We remember you that with NFS: Carbon you just need to push F12 and the game will save the screen in C:\\Program Files\\Electronics Arts\\Need for Speed Carbon\\. Players are forced to make screeenshots about the games, but they don't need to send them to the cup supervisors until they don't ask it. Contact As always you can arrange some warmup games, and you can find your opponent easier on the Need For Speed channel of ClanBase: #clanbase.nfs on QuakeNet! If you have any further questions, feel free to leave a comment, visit us in the irc channel or on the cup forum and we will do our best to answer within a few days. Deciding the map of the first cup
by: CS4f1 - Comments (2) - Hits: 3 As we informed you, there will be at least four more cups during the summer, probably each weekend. Also to have a fast cup we need cut the maplist of WCG that consists five maps, in alphabetical order: Brooks Street, Dover Street, North Broadway, Ocean View and Skyline Avenue. We decided to use one map in each cup, and we decided that the map will be selected by a vote where the voters are you, the players who signed up for the cup! In the upcoming cups that map will not be played anymore, so finally after five cups all five maps will be played. So, there is a poll on the right side of this page, and you need vote for the map you want to see in the first cup, and you don't want to see in the next four cups! There will be more information on this cup page about the tournament format, schedule, etc. soon. Так как мы информировали вас, будут как минимум еще четыре кубка в течение лета, вероятно каждые выходные дни. Также, чтобы иметь быстрый кубок, нам нужно вырезать maplist WCG, который заключается пять карт, в алфавитном порядке: Улица �*учьев, дуврская Улица, Северный Бродвей, Океанский Вид и Авеню Горизонта. Мы решили использовать одну карту в каждом кубке, и мы решили, что карта будет выбрана голосом, где избиратели - вы, игроки, которые подписались на кубок! В последующих кубках, карта не будет сыграна больше, так окончательно после пяти кубков целиком пять карт будет сыграно. Так, есть список учасников справа сторона этой страницы, и вам нужно голосовать за карту, которую вы хотите видеть в первом кубке, и вы хотят посмотреть в следующий четыре кубка! Будет больше информации относительно этой страницы кубка о формате турнира, списке, и т.п. скоро. Проверьте страницу очень часто в наступающем два дня! :)

Cup structure - updating LIVE
by: CS4f1 This cup structure will be new on ClanBase, so we will not use the normal "making groups and then making playoffs system". After the cup we will find the way how to store results and winners! All the information you need to know will be in newsposts all the time, so you need just check always the Main page of the cup! The structure: 1.) Let us assume that X players sign up for the cup, and all will be here on Sunday 16:00 CET. We will make random groups, each groups will consist 4 players. For example if 39 players sign up, then we will have 10 groups, but in the last group only 3 players. 2.) The players of each group will connect to the same game in the starting time of each rounds, so 4 players will race against eachother in the same game. For example if we have 39 players in 10 groups, then we will have 10 races (1 race/group) in the first round. 3.) After the races are finished, players will tell the results to the cup supervisors, who will give points after the results. For the 1st place we will give 5 points, for the 2nd place we will give 3 points, you will get 2 points for the 3rd place, finally the 4th (last) player of each race will get 1 point. не совсем понятен 2 пункт, будет одна гонка и в ней 4 чела(группа):shocking: |

Qualifier #2 (North Broadway) announced
The second qualifier will be this Sunday, and you selected clearly North Broadway by the poll. There will be 7 draws again, but everything will be quicker, because a program will store the results and it will generate HTML codes too, so I think the cup could be finished in 3-4 hours with that. Signup period: 31 July - 5 August 12:00 CET Cup start: 5 August 16:00 CET The problems when signing up: If you signed up for the first (Dover Street) qualifier too, then when you try to sign up for the second qualifier you will get an error message like this: "This clan has been signed up earlier for this cup but was removed. Please contact the supervisor if your signup must be restored." So, please contact one of the cup organisers as this message tells, and they will put you back to the list, so you can play in the second qualifier too. SummerCup 2007 Grand Final announced by: CS4f1 - Comments (1) We are proud to announce 2007 SummerCup Grand Finals, that will take part in early September. These small cups with one map on Sundays will be the qualifiers for the Grand Final. Totally 16 players can qualify. Three players qualify after each rounds, the three with the best results who still had not qualified, so totally 5x3=15 players. After this, one more player will qualify, the player who still had not qualified but has the most points overall (we summarize the points of 5 small cups). Qualified players 3/16 no.
