Default How you get your Data..

Hi guys,

first at all, excuse my very bad english

i would like to build a external tachometer on a ATmega. With Speed and rpm display on it.

But i don't get the data out of the game (NFS:S). At the moment i only have the ram position off the actually gear position :/

Can anybody help me?!

Tell in detail that you wish to make and for what it should be used.

I get data with very big work =)

Hi infel,

the data (in fact: actualy gearposition, rpm and speed (km/h or m/h)) i would like to view on an external display.

I will get out the data thrue the RS232 or the USB Port to an Atmega32 microcontroller. The rpm i will use as an shift indicator (10 LED's), the Speed and the gear i will shown on a GLCD (128x64) or on a 7 Seg Display (thats acutally not clear, how whats look cooler ).

I draw the circuit diagram for the hardware this day and show it to you.

Of course, i will share the assembly instruction for the hardware with you, and i will get you the source code for the µC, to build your own external display.

I have sitting here for more than five days, and i have only the ram adress for the gearposition... thats very frustating :/ you are my last attempt before i throw my ideas to the garbage.

Hm, and than you do not like the display in game?

Basically, I think that I can help you.
Idea for you interesting though and it is not so clear to do what for to you it =)

The only think i need is the ram position or the position how you get the data out. An API or from an filemap like in GTR2.

The C++ Code for the PC and for the µC write it on my own - i realy only need the data's
