What do you think about adding RSS feeds to Arena? Will you use it?
RSS feeds aka Live Bookmarks in Firefox
provide direct access to site's data.
We can create RSS feeds for game lists, standings, your personal messages, news etc. They can be used basically in 2 ways:
- regular users in their browsers (or RSS readers) can get required data from our site without actually opening the Arena site. You may just surf the internet as usual and your browser will notify you if there is a new game or new message in your inbox etc.
- team webmasters can read RSS from some programming language and show this data on your team homepages (for example player standings within your team or current position of your team in team standings).
This is additional work, and we will do it only if you really need it.
